One of our long-time clients from NYC had a wonderful house on Nantucket. They loved everything about it, except that it took a ferry to get on and off the Island. On one of the return trips into Hyannis Port, they noticed a spit of land creating the port with a beautiful home overlooking the bay.

After a little research, it turned out to be a gated community of twenty eight homes. Eureka! A place to relax with the family that did not include a ferry! The home was fairly new, but missed the details and amenities the client needed. We added guest rooms, an owner’s suite, garage, landscaping, functional kitchen (they loved to cook) and, most important, a screened porch and major mud room. They had a large growing family that included many different ages. The result was everything Nantucket could give and cut three hours off the round trip.
