It is refreshing when clients come to you knowing exactly what they want. This particular client was so well prepared, I almost took his sketches and put my architectural stamp on them.

But, once we started to look into the views, his needs, guest needs, the steep slope, etc. the project took a wonderful turn for the better. We captured two critical goals: the sweeping views of the Hudson River and a house that looked as if it grew out of the earth with the use of natural materials and “organic” elements.
